Rocky Mountain Arsenal's major subordinate command is the Base Realignment and Closure Office (BRACO) in Washington, DC. The major command for the Arsenal is the Army Materiel Command (AMC) in Alexandria, VA.
Information is collected for web site management. This government computer system uses software programs to create summary statistics which are used for the following purposes: (1) website planning and maintenance, (2) determining technical design specifications, and (3) analyzing system performance.
For security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic and to identify the following unauthorized activities: (1) attempting to upload or change information, (2) causing damage, and (3) denying service to authorized users.
Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Server logs are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration General Schedule 20.
Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.
Every time you "click" on a hyperlink in a web document or perform a file transfer protocol (FTP) operation, certain information is sent by your client (in this case, your Internet address) to the server (in this case, the server's Internet address).
